It is finally here…Opening day for Disneyland, a day that will go down in history for so many reasons. It was here that Walt’s dream that he had been pursuing for so long would finally materialize and would prove to everyone that it was all he had ever promised it would be, but the opening day wouldn’t be without its struggles. Black Sunday as it is known, would see the park at nearly double the capacity they expected with chaotic ride breakdowns and lack of water and food. But through all of it, the park would shine and it would be the start of all the magic we experience in the parks!
